Weather Overlays
Flaresat can overlay real-time weather data on top of any map style. Open the Map Layer Selector from the top-right corner of the map to switch layers.

Weather overlays require an internet connection to load tile data. The layer selector is available in both online and Radio groups, but weather tiles will not load if your device has no internet access.
Available layers​

| Cloud Cover | Cloud density across the sky |
| Wind | Live wind speed and direction |
| Temperature | Surface air temperature |
| Pressure | Atmospheric pressure and isobars |
Layers are fetched in real time and update as you pan and zoom.
How to enable a weather layer​
- Tap the Layers icon in the top-right corner of the map
- Under Weather, tap the layer you want
The selected layer becomes active. Only one weather layer can be active at a time, selecting a new one replaces the previous.
To return to a plain map, select one of the base map options (Standard, Satellite, or Terrain) in the same panel.
Notes​
- Weather overlays require an internet connection and are not available in Radio mode.
- Data is sourced from a third-party weather API and may have a short update delay.
- Weather layers cannot be combined or stacked, only one is shown at a time.
