Flaresat runs on iPhone, Android, Windows, Linux, macOS, and any modern web browser.
iPhone (iOS)​
On your iPhone, launch the App Store.
Type Flaresat into the search bar.
Tap Get to download and install.
Open the app and create your account →.
Android​
On your Android device, launch Google Play.
Type Flaresat into the search bar.
Tap Install.
Open the app and create your account →.
Web browser (PWA)​
The web version works in any modern browser, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Edge. No download required. You can also install it as a Progressive Web App (PWA) so it behaves like a native app.
Visit the site​
Go to flaresat.com and sign in.
Install as a PWA (optional but recommended)​
Installing gives you a home screen icon, faster loading, and push notification support.
On Chrome (Android or desktop):
- Open Flaresat in Chrome
- Tap the three-dot menu (â‹®)
- Select Add to Home screen or Install app
- Tap Add
On Safari (iPhone / iPad):
- Open Flaresat in Safari
- Tap the Share button (the box with an arrow)
- Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen
- Tap Add
On Safari (macOS):
- Open Flaresat in Safari
- In the menu bar, go to File → Add to Dock
Desktop (Windows, Linux & macOS)​
Flaresat has native desktop apps built from the same web app. They open the live app and automatically fall back to a bundled copy when you're offline.
Windows
Download for Windows (.exe) →
Run the installer and follow the prompts. No admin rights required.
macOS
Apple Silicon (.dmg) → · Intel (.dmg) →
Open the .dmg and drag Flaresat into your Applications folder. On first launch, right-click the app and choose Open (the build is not notarized yet).
Linux
AppImage → · Debian / Ubuntu (.deb) → · Fedora / RHEL (.rpm) →
AppImage: make it executable (chmod +x) and run it, no install needed. .deb / .rpm: install with your package manager.
