Create an Account
You need an account to use Flaresat's cloud features. Sign-up is free and takes under a minute.
If you only plan to use Radio groups (LoRa mesh, no internet), you can skip sign-up entirely. Tap Continue without account at the bottom of the sign-in screen. See Guest Mode →
Sign up with email​
Open Flaresat and tap Sign Up.
Enter your name, email address, and a password.
Accept the Terms of Service (required).
You'll receive a 6-digit verification code.
Enter the code in the app to confirm your email.
Sign-up is complete.
Sign up with Google​
Tap Continue with Google.
Choose your Google account.
Authorize Flaresat.
No password needed.
Sign in with Apple​
Tap Continue with Apple.
Authenticate with Face ID / Touch ID.
Choose whether to share or hide your email (either works).
Sign-in is complete.
Signing back in​
If you signed out or switched devices:
- Open Flaresat and tap Sign In
- Use the same method you used to sign up (email + password, Google, or Apple)
On the sign-in screen, tap Forgot password?, this opens accounts.flaresat.com in your browser (Flaresat uses Clerk for authentication). Follow the steps there to reset your password, then come back to the app and sign in normally.
Switching devices​
Your account and all your online groups are tied to your account, not your device. Sign in on any device and everything will be there.
Radio group data lives on-device. Use the Cloud Backup feature to move Radio groups to a new device.
