Sharing a workflow
Every workflow is either personal (visible only to you) or shared with one organization. Sharing doesn't copy the workflow — everyone in the organization runs the same one, and every one of their runs lands in that organization's run audit.
Sharing to an organization
From the workspace, open the menu and tap Move to org, then pick the organization. Only owners and organization admins can do this. A shared workflow shows the organization's color and name on its card everywhere it appears.
To make a shared workflow private again, an admin taps Make private from the same menu — it stops appearing to other members, and their in-progress runs of it are unaffected.
Who can do what
| Personal workflow | Shared workflow | |
|---|---|---|
| Run it | Owner only | Any organization member |
| Edit or delete it | Owner | Organization admins |
| See its records | Owner only | Any organization member, in the org audit |
Share links and QR codes
From a workflow's workspace, tap Share to get:
- A link,
https://flows.flaresat.com/w/<id>, that opens the workflow's workspace (or the app directly, if installed). - A QR code, for scanning on another device.
- A launch variant of the link that jumps straight into starting a run.
Opening a share link for a workflow you don't have access to (it's someone else's personal workflow, or a different organization's) shows Workflow not found rather than any of its content.
Inviting someone to see a shared workflow
Sharing a workflow's link only helps someone who's already a member of the same organization. To bring someone new into the organization itself, see Creating an organization and inviting people.
