Creating an organization and inviting people
An organization is the team you share workflows with. Organizations in Flows are the same organizations as in the main Flaresat app — creating or joining one from either app puts you in the same place.
Creating an organization
From Home, tap the organization icon in the header.
Give it a name, an optional description, an icon and a color. You become its ADMIN.
Creating an organization is a FLARE PRO feature. On the Free plan, this opens the FLARE PRO gate instead — see FLARE PRO. Joining and using an organization someone else created is always free.
Joining an organization
From the same menu, switch to Join, and either:
- Type the invite code (looks like
FLO-XXXXXX), or - Tap Scan QR code and point your camera at the code shown by an admin.
Inviting people
Open your organization's Settings (the gear icon) to find the join code and its QR code. Share either one — the code by text or email, the QR code for someone standing next to you to scan.
An admin can also rotate the code (invalidates the old one) or disable joining entirely without removing existing members.
Invite links
Sharing https://flows.flaresat.com/org/join/<code> opens Flows directly to the join screen if it's installed, or a fallback page with Open in Flows and store links if it isn't. Signed-out recipients are asked to sign in first, then land right back on the invite rather than the dashboard.
Managing members
In Settings, each member shows their role — ADMIN or MEMBER. An admin can change a member's role or remove them. Leaving an organization, or (for admins) deleting it entirely, is in the same Settings screen's danger zone.
What organization membership gets you
- Workflows the organization shares appear on your Home screen and can be run by any member.
- Every member's runs of those workflows land in the run audit.

@mentionson a shared run can reach any organization member.
