Notifications

Flows notifies you about activity that involves you directly — comments on your runs, @mentions, and someone joining an organization you admin.

In-app​

Tap the bell icon from Home to open your notifications. Unread ones are marked; tap one to jump straight to the run, record, or organization it's about. Mark all read clears them at once.

Announcements (product updates, not the same as activity notifications) are a separate row at the top of this screen.

Push notifications​

You'll be asked to enable push notifications the first time you sign in — never as a guest, since there's no account to notify. Once enabled:

  • A mention push names who mentioned you and previews the comment.
  • A comment push (for comments on your own runs that don't mention you) previews it the same way.
  • Tapping a push takes you directly to what it's about, the same as tapping it in the in-app list.

Flows and Flaresat register push notifications separately — enabling push in one app doesn't enable it in the other, and a device running only Flows never receives a Flaresat notification or vice versa.

Turning notifications off​

Push notifications follow your device's system notification settings for the app. Signing out, or using Erase Flows Data / Delete account (see Data and deletion), also removes this device's notification registration.
