Comments and mentions
Every step, and every run as a whole, has a comment thread — separate from the private note you can leave on a step while running it. Comments are for talking about the work with your team; the note is your own record on the step itself.
Commenting
Open the comment panel on a step, or on the run overall, type your message, and send it. Comments are timestamped and show who wrote them. You can delete your own comments; you can't edit or delete someone else's.
@Mentioning a teammate
Comments only support mentions on a workflow shared with an organization — type @ and start typing a name to see a list of that organization's members. Pick one, and they'll get a notification and a push alert letting them know you mentioned them, with a preview of your comment.
Mentioning someone who isn't a member of the run's organization, or mentioning yourself, is silently ignored rather than rejecting the whole comment — the comment still sends, just without notifying that name.
On a personal (not organization-shared) run, there's no one else to mention, so @ mentions aren't offered — only the run's own author would ever see the comment.
Where mentions show up
A mention notification appears in Notifications and, if you have push enabled, as a push alert. Tapping it takes you straight to the run or record the comment was made on.
